Liquid Helix Esports Recruiting Showcase
May 9–10, 2026 | Detroit Metro Area
Connecting Esports Athletes with College Coaches at the Nation’s Premier Showcases
The Liquid Helix Esports Recruiting Showcase is a recruiting-first esports event designed to provide high school athletes with meaningful exposure to college esports coaches in a structured, competitive environment.
This two-day showcase brings together top high school programs and collegiate recruiters for live competition across VALORANT, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. (1v1). Unlike traditional tournaments, the event is intentionally built to prioritize athlete visibility, evaluation efficiency, and consistent competitive play.
Event Overview
The Liquid Helix Esports Recruiting Showcase guarantees every participating team four (4) scheduled matches in a standardized format that mirrors collegiate esports competition.
All matches are played in a single, centralized competition hall, allowing college coaches to efficiently evaluate athletes across multiple titles in a controlled, distraction-free environment.
Teams compete in three (3) matches on Saturday, followed by one (1) scheduled match on Sunday morning, ensuring continued exposure across both days of the event.
This event is not about brackets or championships — it is about exposure, evaluation, and opportunity.
